Flirting With Insanity
2020-04-03, 1:22 am
Welcome to the Interested Prospects thread for the DC Insanity. Please post a reply with the following questions, and please note that we were the first team to get this set up.
1) What's more important to you, going all-in to win a ring and then losing teammates, or sustained success?
2) What's your vision for your player in terms of team role?
3) What's your expected activity (1-10)?
4) Players can change their player type in the offseason. How important is it to you to keep your current type?
5) Do you own NHL 19?
6) Anything else you want to add or ask?

1) Winning it all. While we've seen many teams that have been considered one of the best in the regular season many cannot win the cup. I'd rather have a team go all in for the chance at victory rather than trying to do the same things (looking at you Lightning)
2) Offensively I'd like to be able to pass the puck to shooters at the circle and slot from the point. While slapping it from the point is an option, that isn't usually most optimal for high percentage shots. Defensively I'd rather be in the front of the goal facing down the shooter and either steal the puck or take a shot, being physical at the boards is not my forte.
3) Concrete answer I do not believe is possible due to school might get in the way at times in the future.
4) I'd prefer to stay as an offensive defenseman due to higher propensity for points but converting to a two-way defenseman wouldn't be the end of the world
5) I have it, not installed since I bought NHL 20 in december

1) What's more important to you, going all-in to win a ring and then losing teammates, or sustained success? Sustained success
2) What's your vision for your player in terms of team role? I would love to be a starter but if there is a better goalie on the team I would be fine being back up.
3) What's your expected activity (1-10)? 6 I have much more time now that I'm out of school.
4) Players can change their player type in the offseason. How important is it to you to keep your current type? I would be willing to change
5) Do you own NHL 19? Yes I reinstalled it just for this
6) Anything else you want to add or ask? Nope

1. Sustained success is priority for me. I don't want to be super good one year and then tank the next. It's one of my biggest complaints in the NHL
2. Fast offensive playmaker. I want to be able to set up beauties for my teammates to hammer in.
3. At least a 7
4. I would very much like to remain a center but can move to wing if the need arises
5. Yes
6. Not really
